This week in my travels I learnt a new “metric” applied to some parts of society, its called the T and T ratio. It’s a metric specific to a part of the community that combines the adoration of tattoos, number of teeth and the number of children the “parents” have of school age children and education outcomes. According to the person I spoke to there is a strong correlation between the number of tatts, teeth, children, the intelligence quotient of the biological parents which apparently has a direct impact on the education outcome of said child/ children. Interesting……
The apparent observed data goes something like this. The more teeth and less number of tattoos the biological parent of said child has the better possible education outcome said child has at one end of the spectrum. The other end of the spectrum is the less teeth (or no teeth at all) the greater number of tattoos and the number of children in any given familial situation the apparent outcomes are worse.
In other words the T and T or Tatts to Teeth ratio has a direct correlation to education outcomes in school age children. Clearly this is hearsay by an educational professional and I have no way or even interest in determining the facts of the matter however theres probably a phd in this for some low life.
If schools are seeking funding for “special” students then maybe just maybe the metric shouldn't be applied to any given child rather an assessment of the parents.
